The project seeks to capture the essence of what makes Marrakech unique while meeting the functional requirements for upscale international comparison shopping destination.

The public spaces and urban form of the historic Marrakech Medina and the French Colonial Gueliz district were analyzed to understand their urban typology including public circulation and private spaces with interior embellishments. The pedestrian-oriented district is lined with varied facades that respond to the traditional Marrakech architectural style.
