Morten Jensen

Architect, President

Morten Jensen founded JRDV Urban International in 2003 with a commitment to making the world better through sociable public spaces reflecting local development history.

Over his forty-year career he has led complex projects around the world in addition to a laser focus on the communities where JRDV has worked. He has been a guest speaker and visiting critic at The College of Environmental Design at the University of California Berkeley.

Recently Morten’s family has consolidated in his native city of Copenhagen where in the summer of 2021 he led a delegation of 35 urban design leaders from the Bay Area on a 5-day study tour of Copenhagen meeting with the City of Copenhagen department heads responsible for Planning, Redevelopment, Transportation and Sustainability.
